General information: The Multitronic is shiftless automatic gearbox. It is used with 2.0 to 3.2 litre engines on a front wheel drive  Audi cars. The advantages are well known - smooth acceleration, low fuel consumption, very good dynamics. There are also disadvantages - relatively expensive maintenance, sometimes impossible to repair, expensive repair kits.
